Our vision

In the recent creations, the extended voice about asking the identity and the rights of individuals including genders, orientations, or social norms and definitions of “standards” roots in the concepts. Aiming to search for diversity in personal identities, we understand nowadays the borders between cultures or races are blurred or unpleasantly framed. How we are dressed and how we present ourselves correspond to the statement of the person or a forced character in society. "Fashion and identity" has always inseparable relation. Our signature textile

Misora has been developing various textiles since the brand launched. One of the signature textiles is yarn-suspending jacquard. once in an epoch for silk textile in Japan, followed by Nishijin-ori (Kyoto), Kiryu-ori (Gunma) although most producers are forced to leave their business today due to the shift of daily-wear to the western style. Versatility and Sustainability

Universe of Misora Nakamori   - Question of the overflown word ‘sustainability’: what should be the actual definition of it? As a fashion designer, it is unignorable subject. Fashion industry is the industry, which creates the most waste and gives solutions to our mother Earth. "I consider the context of sustainability can’t be convinced only by the use of recyclable materials but it should be demonstrated from the fundamental issues. First, the life of garments that could stay long in a wardrobe.
